I was involved in the rebranding and new storyline development for the Tropical Islands resort in Germany. The booklet contains new concept and storylines presented in a form of the main character’s travel journal. My responsibilities in the project included:
Storyline research: studying and selecting geographical and cultural references and historical facts that would fit the new storyline of the resort.
Storytelling & copywriting: writing the new storyline for the project, including the bio of the main character and description of his adventures. The storyline was eventually used as a base for the comic book about the newly invented characters.
Rebranding: working on the graphical examples for the rebranding, such as icons, logos, stickers, posters, etc.
Stylized brand book: visual style development and design of the book with all created data, images and stories.
